Dose Adjustment Phase Support

How to Support Your Patients With PAH and Help Them Continue Treatment With UPTRAVI1

It's important for patients to have constructive, open dialogue with their PAH healthcare providers throughout treatment.

Before starting UPTRAVI:

  • Ensure patients understand that dose adjustment (titration) is necessary and temporary.
  • Inform patients and caregivers of ways they can manage common side effects before the patient starts treatment.
  • Encourage patients to track how they're feeling during treatment with the UPTRAVI Dose Adjustment Phase Guide and to contact you if they have questions about any side effects.
  • Emphasize that patients should not change their dose or stop taking UPTRAVI without speaking to you.

Lastly, remind patients to stay hopeful and focused on the big picture of how UPTRAVI can help them.

The information provided in the visits should reinforce information you, as the treating HCP, have given your patient.

*During enrollment, you, as the treating HCP, can choose a specific number of nurse visits or a visit during each dose change until your patient titrates to their personal dose of UPTRAVI.
